This sat well with me years ago, and I've a love for that tone that's sorta right inbetween Holy Mountain & Dopesmoker. Super buzzed out head riffs that aid your chair melt. Mega zonked stuff, people. I didn't get to support the band the first time around as I had found the album at a shop used many years back, but now I am supporting them and finally can show my deep appreciation of your riffs. Thank you for the patch too!

Received. Spun. Still loved.

Christian Gießen Stoner rock in general is pretty generic, but Toner Low succeed to stand out by reducing their sound to the bare minimum: the music is absolutely simple, almost dull. Furthermore, Toner Low are really slow and raw. While their sound is almost like the archetype for the genre of stoner rock or stoner metal, their pure and minimal approach is what makes them really stand out. Favorite track: Grass.

Released in June 2005 on Roadkill Rekordz (Toner Low's DIY label) and in January 2006 on Freebird Records (Netherlands). Available on cd, as digital album and on black, heavy weight double vinyl.

The confusion about the track names is caused by the six line poem on the album cover, which was written around the actual song titles. However, only the lines 2-5 represent song titles and the track title Interlude is omitted from the poem.

released June 6, 2005

Recorded and mixed at Studio M123, Leiden (NL), May 2004-May 2005.
